Located in the Heart of Ottawa's ByWard Market, in the NCC Courtyards, between York and George Streets since 1994.

Planet Coffee’s history is simple. We were two inexperienced (some said crazy, we prefer fearless), coffee-loving friends who thought it might be fun to own our own coffee shop. With more than 20 years of perseverance, hard work and laughter later, we are still here - still friends!
We have built our business guided by simple principles:
~ We value great customer service
~ We offer great coffee
~ We prepare all our baked goods in-house, using simple, wholesome ingredients.
We measure our success by our continued relationships: with each other, with our customers (some have stuck with us since 1994) and with our staff who eventually leave but always come back to visit..sometimes even come back to work.
We were one of the first coffee bars in Ottawa, our original store was on George Street. We are now proudly located in historic Clarendon Lanes between George and York streets, with a great patio when the weather permits.
